Anyway, here’s the poop: I lucked out this year and managed to score a 4-day pass to San Diego Comic Con via a really awesome friend. I’ve already sussed out hotel accommodations and put in my time off at work. The only thing left to do now… is pay for everything. Which is a little difficult to do at the moment considering that I just moved last week and have very little money to spend on things that aren’t rent and food.
This will be the first I’ve actually been able to go to Comic Con since 2009. It’s one of my favorite conventions ever, and it would really mean a hell of a lot to me to be able to go again and see all of my friends (and potentially meet new ones), especially considering the amount of bullshit I’ve put up with over the last year.
Despite already having a pretty hefty commission queue, I absolutely refuse to BEG for money so I can go to a convention. (As much as I want to go, I know that conventions are not are a necessity nor an emergency.*) I really do want to go to this, and I’m more than willing to work for it. I did it in 2008, and I can do it again.
My goal is to make $1200 or more in six weeks. This will cover hotel costs, airfare, food, as well as cover any additional expenses. (COUGHaquabatsconcertCOUGH)
The two types of commissions above are the ONLY commission types I’m accepting right now. If you’re interested in commissioning me for something else, you’ll have to wait until after Comic Con to do so. Sorry, but I want to make this whole process as painless as possible (or as painless as it possibly CAN be, which I’ll explain here in a minute).
If you’ve been to my art blog, then you’ll know that my art covers a lot of different subject matter, so your commission can be pretty much anything you want: furries, humans, robots, object heads, monster girls, monster boys, robots, Homestucks, WHATEVER. As long as what you’re asking for ISN’T PORN, then I’ll most likely draw it.**

KEEP IN MIND: Since my internet is really shitty and I’m allowed only a limited amount of consecutive online time per day, it may take a while for me to respond to you. At worst, it may take 2 to 3 days for you to receive an invoice. This is only because I can’t really spend all of my waking time on the internet anymore due to my stupid bandwidth allowance.
