Superman never knew his people or his home, so he dedicates his whole life to making ours better no matter what cuz he thinks we deserve it even the people who make it worse or dont try.
He gets letters from people thanking him for helping them, and letters from people blaming him for not being there when they needed him and he reads em all
Superman fights for us and hurts with us and lifts us up
