it sort of blows my mind how strongly this stuff resonates with people who grew up like i did, when i did. like my stomach sort of flipped when i named this file “home.jpg.” it seems unfair that our nascent experiences can be artificial ones, but at the same time, it gives us instant access to one another’s cherished memories. hours and hours of wasted childhoods, though (albeit distantly) wasted together on tiny, primitive screens. cheers.
